This project was very near and dear to my heart. My dear aunt, kindred spirit, and healer, Brenda K Johnson, worked on a poetry book that took over 30 years for her to compile and publish. I had the privilege of working with her to give birth to this creative "baby". Here are the illustrations. Click on the images for larger versions.

HayyaLife Publishing

This  22-page coloring book is the first published work Hayyalife Publishing. We love this one because it is just so cute. Muslim girls struggle with people staring at them, but never really seeing who they are. This book is a fun attempt at giving a glimpse into the lives of American Muslim girls for everyone to see and enjoy.


The first printing was a short-run, but we plan on doing much more with L'il Miss Muslim. Items with these characters are to be available in the HayyaLife Shop.
