"Here is a draft of my demo reel of animation clips and some stills. Nothing fancy; but I really enjoyed doing it. I am a self-taught animator. I just think animation is simply awesome. I want to be a part of the animation "magic". I mean, really; 'why not make art move? '"

From the mind, to pen and paper, and finally to instrumentation and vocalizition, a song is very personal. These are some things I've been working on for another self-indulgent album I am making. I learned a few things doing the first album called BELIEVABLE in 2005. You live and you learn. The home "studio" allows an artist the creativity and power to do whatever they please with how they express themselves musically. I make songs the same way I draw: in layers. I am finally accepting that I can't hold on to stuff forever. "You've got yo Share Love!" as grandma says. I love doing this, so I share my process with others.

Shine Through War

This is a song I wrote about the human empathic disease and it's cure. We feel things for the people and nature of the world so much that it blocks out the light inside of us. Instead of living in the light of God, we build a shell of  restless darkness. If you watch the film "Life is Beautiful" about a man and his son during the holocaust and how the father sought only to share the beauty of life with his son even when horror surrounded them, it becomes necessary to do the same in your own life, especially in less horrifying circumstances. The lesson being that happiness is a choice. Problems have solutions. I choose happiness and I choose solutions.

This song is dedicated to Khary & Adam Ali and all the great-grandchildren of Gussie Sidberry (Don't let the problems of the world get you down.  Your smiles are the Solution.) You were on my mind and heart when I wrote this song.

I know i didn't come back (p.t.s.d.)
